Tools, resources, and conversations surrounding grief and loss are necessary to help us navigate the challenges those experiences create. Loss covers a wide spectrum of circumstances, and this book, in particular, addresses the emotional whirlwind we experience when we lose loved ones.
This poem, Everything Will Be Okay, illustrates the experience of a family grieving the loss of a loved one. As the children grieve their grandmother, their parents grieve the loss of their mother. Together, they find a way to feel, process their emotions, hold on to old memories and create new memories that honor the woman they lost.
