Maybe if we take our sins, the worst we have done to each other, and bury them deep enough in the flesh and in the earth, then they will disappear. We can cover it all with dirt and plant a garden teaming with beautiful flowers. Maybe no one will look beneath the surface.

Truth burns down to the bones.
