Born in a small town with not much to do, Patricia developed an intense passion for reading. Having survived an abusive childhood, she would picture herself as one of the characters from the novels she was reading. By the time she was in high school, Patricia was reading a book a day.
This love for reading carried her through undergraduate and master’s degrees at Western Kentucky University. It was good that Patricia had developed a passion for reading, it served her well during law school. At George Mason Law, she was reading up to 150 pages of case law a day. Soon, after graduating law school, came marriage, children, and a thriving law career. After three marriages and an empty nest, she focused on her newest passion; writing.
Patricia was discovering that she wasn’t the only woman looking for her perfect man. Talking with friends, many whom were married, she learned that every woman desired a little more excitement in her life. So, she began writing what she, and most other women desired, a happily ever after- with some steamy romance mixed in!
Patricia is an accomplished author. Her children’s book A Dragon is Chasing Me focuses on having the parent understand what a child is trying to say; how to listen between the lines. She wrote this with her own traumatic childhood in mind. She also authored The Battle to Find Dignity After Abuse under her pen name Diane Fogyle. This book details her upbringing and life as only she can tell it.
