This book is a sincere effort to help us caregivers find tools of positive thinking to optimize our physical energy by realigning it with mental, emotional, and spiritual energy! So that we can perform to our full potential with satisfaction and happiness! We have an innate need to give quality care to our loved ones, but we cannot do so until we know how to manage our energy by tapping into a renewable energy source of health, healing, and happiness! Taking care of loved ones, particularly the ones who have chronic disease or are aging with illnesses, takes a huge physical and psychological toll on us. Overcoming burnout, which is an extreme dissipation of energy, enthusiasm, and enjoyment, is a Herculean feat.

Through this book, ＂Energy Management Mantras for Caregivers,＂ I have shared incidences, stories, thoughts, belief systems, practices, and principles that I have developed as my coping skills to overcome the burnout from taking care of my son, Parag, who has autism. These coping skills have enamored me to carry out my roles and responsibilities with energy and enthusiasm, along with being a loving and caring mother.
