Two unlikely companions, one dangerous journey, and a destiny they can’t escape.

Demon hunter Zilzina is used to facing down the monsters of the abyss, but when she rescues a young half-demon named Autumn during a routine bounty, her world is turned upside down. With her own dark hunger threatening to overwhelm her, Zilzina reluctantly takes Autumn under her wing, promising to protect her at all costs.

As they journey toward the city of Sapoul, danger seems to follow their every step, and Zilzina begins to suspect that something hidden within Autumn may be attracting their enemies. When a greater demon takes a sudden interest in them, Zilzina must confront her own dark past and the growing threat that looms over their future.
