The greatest guilt in war is watching your best friend die and then being grateful it wasn’t you. Staff Sergeant Mack Murphy is on a routine reconnaissance mission in the mountains of Afghanistan to gather intelligence on the emerging insurgency. His Force Recon team stumbles into battle-hardened insurgents from the surrounding Arab states. Forced into a game of cat and mouse, Mack harnesses his skills as a Marine Sniper to keep the enemy from gaining the upper hand, but the situation becomes more dire with each passing moment. Mack didn’t think things could get any worse, and then they did. An urgent Red Cross call from the states pushes Mack beyond the breaking point. It becomes clear that no amount of training could have prepared him for the desolation that lies ahead.
