I grew up on a family farm and ranch on the outskirts of a town named Firth in Southeast Idaho. The town was established in the early 1880s when the railroad came through. All my family went to school and graduated from high school here. most of my siblings went on to college. I had the same interest, but it was not an option back in the day for people who had learning disabilities. I was interested in a variety of jobs, including truck driving and law enforcement. Over the years, I had many jobs, mostly related to the farming industry.
As a young man, I liked to listen to the old-timers tell stories, and I especially liked stories about pioneers and the Old West. This is my second book, which includes more stories and memories of my earlier life.
