A Place for Good and Evil: An Old City Mystery

IN THE OLD CITY, THE DEAD HAVE STORIES TO TELL.

Three years ago in balmy St. Augustine, Florida, Sidney Stone’s entire life changed forever. She had been a wife and mother one minute; the next, she was not. Now, in a half-hearted effort to rebuild her life, she has set up shop as a private investigator. Unfortunately, none of her PI experience has prepared her for what is to come.

Leo, a teenager with an extraordinary and chilling gift, can communicate with the dead, but he tries to avoid doing so if at all possible. Newly arrived in St. Augustine, he discovers that the Old City is teeming with spirits of the dead.

Sid and Leo, each reluctant and skeptical, find themselves pushed into an unlikely partnership. When a big case is hand-delivered to Sid by the county sheriff, the pair soon find themselves embroiled in a mystery that hits very close to home-the mystery of what really happened to Sid’s husband and daughter. To solve it, Sid and Leo will need more than just the help of a few friends-they will need to reach out to the other side.
