Jin Mo Qi Gong

Jin Mo Qi Gong was crafted for several reasons. First, to share valuable information with massage therapists and related medical practitioners who also utilize massage therapy techniques. Second, to promote the concepts of Fascia and Energy as viable elements of massage therapy application. Third, to introduce a theory and technique that can be an alternative to conventional deep tissue massage, which traditionally can cause pain or injury and requires aggressive or forceful application. Fourth, to recommend simple exercises that will enhance proper use of the body core for optimal body mechanics. Jin Mo Qi Gong does this by promoting Fascia and Energy as key factors in the massage process and by demonstrating, through the practice of Qi Gong, effective body core management. Since Fascia is the most fundamental and predominant tissue in the body, it stands to reason that in order to treat muscle properly you must address the Fascia first. Also, the connection with the energy of the patient/client and practitioner is paramount. The end result is a safe and effective process that goes just as, if not, deeper than deep tissue massage and is applied with minimal effort and causes no pain or injury.
