Unassuming, Kendra’s life is as normal as any other teenage girl’s. On the cusp of graduation, with an endearing future ahead, she has a lot on her plate already.

But then Kendra and her sister are brutally attacked, and a mysterious classmate, Eden Blackwell, saves her. She discovers he belongs to a secret organization dedicated to hunting demons-beings Kendra never knew existed.

As the wardens of her new prison, the Hunters swear they will protect her, but there’s just one problem:

She’s no longer human.

Plunged into the middle of an insidious conspiracy, Kendra has no time to process her infernal existence. A sinister covenant stalks her, and as Eden wrestles with his own haunting past, he and the Hunters fear they may not be capable of protecting her or the city anymore.

It’s adapt-or-die, and Kendra must overcome devastating obstacles and the contradiction in her humanity if she hopes to save her home from the evil seeking to subjugate it.
