＂When I was in my thirties, I wanted to live to be 100,＂ Myers tells Ian and outlines his path to get there. He shares humorous stories about running away from home, his first tattoo, the biggest fish he ever caught, pitching a no-hitter, earning an MBA, achieving a six-figure income and writing three books. All intended to be inspirations for Ian and all grandsons who will face the inevitable pitfalls and setbacks of life. ＂Happiness is a choice,＂ he says. Then he apologizes, ＂Unfortunately we have become addicted to the pesticides, plastics and fossil fuels that I fear will deprive you of such a future.＂
