The Boy Who Loves Toy Trains

Ivan S. Stone has been a toy train enthusiast since the age of three, starting with Thomas and Brio wooden trains. However, his passion truly ignited at age five when his father took him to a family friend’s home. In the attic, he discovered an electric train layout unlike anything he had ever seen. It was a mesmerizing display of toys, gadgets, colors, shapes, wheels, sounds, lights, and miniature people-all moving at once. With the trains as the centerpiece, young Ivan was instantly captivated.

His fascination grew further with the magical train displays at Sears and Roebuck during the Christmas season. Now an advertising executive and salesman, Ivan continues to immerse himself in the world of trains, frequently attending gatherings and conventions to indulge in his hobby. And so, his story begins-with no end in sight.
