Arch Cutter has a bad job-and it’s about to get a hell of a lot worse.

Sixteen, broke, and trapped in the rotting little town of Whitewood, California, Arch spends his days scraping grease off dishes at Fat Ernst’s Bar & Grill, dreaming of escape. But when his corrupt boss forces him to do something truly filthy, Arch unwittingly unleashes an ancient horror buried deep beneath the valley.

Now the townsfolk of Whitewood are dying in unspeakable ways-devoured from the inside out by parasitic worms that turn human flesh into a buffet. As the infection spreads, old feuds ignite, blood flows freely, and the line between man and monster dissolves in a storm of shotgun blasts, bad decisions, and black magic.
