Raising the Bar: The Story of Reinhardt University Football

John Gordon Thigpen is a 2017 summa cum laude graduate of Reinhardt University with a B.A. in English. In the same year, he received the English Program Award and the University Traditional Student of the Year Award. He was inducted into the Sigma Tau Delta and Alpha Chi honor societies. He made research presentations at the Robert L. Driscoll Convocation of Artists and Scholars and published creative non-fiction in Sanctuary: The Interdisciplinary Arts Journal of Reinhardt University. A captain on the Reinhardt University football team, he was a member of the original squad and participated in the sport for all four years of his undergraduate career. Thigpen is currently pursuing the M.B.A. at Reinhardt University.
