Retired army engineer officer Patrick C. Wentz served for twenty-one years, including two combat tours in Iraq. While on active duty, he gained an understanding of geographic information systems. This knowledge led to his interest in Pennsylvania limestone and its effects on local creeks.
Wentz earned his bachelor of arts degree in history from Slippery Rock University, Pennsylvania, and a master of science in criminal justice administration from Niagara University, New York. He resides in York County, Pennsylvania, with his wife and son.
