Stars in her eyes and a Swiss Army knife in her pocket... After growing up in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, Naomi Stone went East to college, then North to Alaska, back to the middle for a bit more education, then all around the US and Canada, hitch-hiking and even hopping a freight train before returning to her roots. These days she doesn’t wander far, not with a cat whose midnight feedings and multiple breakfasts no cat-sitter would tolerate. Naomi likes fun and finds it in many forms; sometimes she creates coloring pages or illustrations, sometimes plays her mandolin or recorders - and more often plays computer games. She’s been involved in f/sf fandom for years and attends her local science fiction conventions where she participates in filk singing and board gaming with friends. She’s also a serial craftsperson, engaging periodically in bouts of beading, crocheting or some random project inspired by Pinterest.
