The Angel From The Forest is an extremely moving, original novel. It chronicles the wonderful love story between a Jewish girl and a Partisan fighter during World War II in Eastern Poland, between the summer of 1941 and summer of 1944. The author eloquently, and at times even humorously, examines the persistent struggle for the life and happiness of a Jewish girl, one of the hundreds of thousands of Jewish girls whose life and death stories vanished in the extermination camps, without leaving a trace. The author sweeps the reader into the world of a teenage girl and draws from the depths of this dark period to see the light and good, the hope and humanity, even while facing evil incarnate. Angels in Hell reveals the survival stories of several Holocaust survivors, whom the author knew, and pays tribute to all of the unknown Christians, the brave-hearted human angels who risked their lives and sometimes the lives of their family members in order to save Jews from Hell on Earth.
