Full name Edwin Clarke Taylor Jr., born February 13, 1951, Bell Hospital Williamsburg, Virginia. Graduated from Highland Springs High School Highland Springs, Virginia, class of 1969. After graduation, I enlisted in the United States Air Force (Aug.69-Aug73). Graduating from basic training Lackland AFB, my primary specialty was as an Air Operation Specialty. My first base was Altus AFB in Oklahoma, where I was in one of the first C-5 Training Squadrons. My next base was Eielson AFB in Alaska, where I worked in Base Operation. It was considered my overseas assignment. My last base was Pope AFB in North Carolina, where I worked in Base Operation. I had planned on make a career, but after getting married and having a child, I decide to get out because I hate moving. After being discharged I lived and raised a family in Sandston and Highland Springs, Virginia, I now live in Mechanicsville, Virginia. I’m a widower, have three grown children; Michelle, Theresa, and George. Seven grandchildren, my two granddaughters; Savanah and Haley bookend the group, filling the middle are grandsons; Trevor, Cameron, Ashton, Christopher, and Wesley. After thirty years with Henrico County Public Utilities, I retired, then worked for Sydnor Hydro for almost ten years before retiring again in 2013.I enjoy reading, especially western, murder/mystery and history. I originally want the setting to be in the 1870’s. The book is fictional and my imagination, in that period, the different Tribes fought each other and the white man. So, my hero, Manuelito Geronimo O’Brian, who is a decedent of the Navajo Chief Manuelito, the Apache Warrior Geronimo, and one of the first Irish family in New Mexico, would have been a completely unbelievable person. I moved the setting to a more modern period, where cell phones and computers were in regular use. After thinking about writing for many years, I decide in July 2015 to put my ideas down on paper. It gives me another way to spend my retirement years.
