Xanadu Home of the Lost Boy

Fifteen year old Tom is forced to leave home to escape his abusive father. Not far from his home he finds a cave in the Ozark Mountains leading to a hidden valley. He survives in the bush by fishing and hunting game and builds a rough, small cabin for shelter. He is befriended by big Gus, a local general store owner, who tries to help him.
