A typical bystander might view Katy McVeigh's life as average. Yet the truth is that she has experienced physical and emotional trauma, alienation, a power she cannot explain, and a life-threatening ordeal-all unique challenges that have provided her an opportunity to change her perspective regarding the purpose of those events. Katy L. McVeigh is a state university graduate with a BA in English, and teaching credential for secondary education. She taught junior high, then high school English for eighteen-years. In her youth, Katy faced many challenges, while struggling to understand the why’s of things. An empath, intuitive, clairvoyant, and an energy practitioner, she considers herself a spiritualist with acceptance of all religions. She is a shamanic practitioner as well as Reiki Master in both Mikao Usui, and William Rand’s traditions, (she recognizes Reiki as being a shamanic modality)? Katy has had experiences the Lakota, Inca, Apache, and Crow traditions. She has been trained in Hospice, Death and Dying, as well as Dying Consciously. She offers help for those who seek it through private sessions and classes.
