Joe and Ann Baker buy a farm in North Carolina, which has a junk yard on part of the property. Joe is trying to get the owner to move the old cars but he cannot be found. After a search, the sheriff finds old Tom dead in his junk yard, crushed by a fallen car. To add to Joe’s problems, the town mayor wants the cars gone and a large fence erected to hide the junk yard. For some reason, the mayor harasses Joe and Ann through tickets and even by shooting at Joe. Joe soon realizes the junk yard is not just old wrecked cars but full of classic and vintage cars, worth a lot of money. Joe organizes an auction for the valuable cars, while suspicion over Tom’s death grows.
