Gloria D. Larry is a loving mother, a dynamic speaker, and a fearless philanthropist on a mission to invest in the lives of others by bringing comfort, healing, and hope to those battling illness and their caregivers. As a critical care nurse, Gloria has dedicated the last twenty-five years of her life to caring for her patients and their families. She is a patient advocate, a caregiver, and a source of strength to everyone she meets. After the death of her beloved husband, Charles, Gloria decided to use her experiences to help others facing life-changing illness and loss. The Charles and Gloria Larry Foundation recently launched the House to Live program that will provide a place of refuge and peace in a home-like environment for those who are dealing with an illness and for their caregivers. Through the foundation, she is also helping our youth to ignite new passions through the Continue to Give to Learn to Live program, which provides backpacks and school supplies to children in the greater Houston area. Every day and in every way, Gloria is using her life to have an impact on others. Gloria is also a powerful public speaker who uses her insight and down to earth speaking style to inspire a joy in others that never fades.
