Diana Smith was a successful banker who worked her way up the ranks from drive thru teller to a thriving branch manager. After a failed marriage and horrendous divorce, she finally finds the love of her life. Now a divorced mother, she tries juggling marriage, motherhood, a rewarding career, and college life. Diana currently lives in Bristol Tennessee with her husband of nineteen years. She has four children, four grandchildren, four cats, one dog, and ten chickens. She has studied at East Tennessee State University for her bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary studies with Summa Cum Laude honors. She’s taken several writing and story telling classes as well as volunteered at the National Storytelling festival in Jonesborough Tennessee. Her story has been told to countless people with the same reaction of chills moving down their body. It was at this point that she decided to pen her story. She vividly remembers the disappointment of not finding books similar to her circumstances while hospitalized over 100 days. Diana did read other inspirational books challenging her to persist. Her hopes are that this book encourages others to do the same. Approximately 40% of all Americans will be impacted with cancer in their lifetimes. That is a scary number. These people need to know that there are survivors of this disease. They need to know how to overcome the fear and dread. They need to know that they can put their hope in Jesus Christ, instead of fighting this disease on their own. This book shows that you can’t fight it on your own and you can’t put all your trust in the doctors. You must put you trust in Jesus’ hands.
