The wife’s story is followed from childhood through old age with detailed accounts of the second baby’s medical issues and passing. The struggles and procedures of subsequent adoptions are detailed. Interleaved throughout the book are poems and discussions of life issues combined with spiritual observations. All the way through the reader is given an insight into a mother’s heart.
