32-year-old Taylor Cooper is struggling with a cheating husband, three kids, one of which is a moody teenager, and a bigoted boss in 2024. Her therapist can only see her once a week, mainly to tell her to stop dwelling on the past, and that clearly isn’t enough!
When Taylor discovers her uncle’s wacky invention, and it zaps her 140 years into the past, she finally gets a break, although life in 1884 also has its headaches, one of which is a wild cowboy named Carter! She replaces her therapist with a cow, but that doesn’t stop her from now dwelling on the future!
Taylor keeps reminding herself that she’s married in the future, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t falling in love with a certain wild cowboy! She needs to know her divorce is final before she can allow herself to fall in love again, but with no way back to the future, she’s stuck.
Throw in a handsome school teacher, Carter’s female guest arriving by train from the West, local friends, a job, and a good love triangle, and the past isn’t that much different from the present, romantically speaking.
