Heads I Win, Tails You Lose chronicles the lives of long-married couple Anne, the dutiful wife and librarian, and Harold, the debonair professor and autocratic husband, as a devastating car accident changes their lives forever. Harold, rendered a quadriplegic, becomes demanding, petulant and more controlling than ever. The caregiver Mrs. Forester treats Harold with extraordinary kindness and tact.
