News that doesn’t reflect goodness, kindness, love, or beauty often affects our lives. This makes me think of what our young ones see, learn, and feel as they grow up. Do they see beauty? Are they protected from ugliness?
After reading this story, children will be reminded that there is beauty in the world and all of us. We can indeed see that wonderful world that Louis Armstrong sang of. By working, living, and learning together, we all have a responsibility to preserve the beauty in the world the creator has made. You, too, have the power to make a difference.
