Sally Lukose, PhD, is a Professor (Forensic Science) and Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. She has more than 19 years of research and teaching experience in the area of forensic science. She is credited with the initiation of undergraduate and postgraduate forensic science programs at Amity University (Noida & Dubai Campus), Galgotias University, College of Traffic Management-IRTE, Faridabad (affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak), and Sharda University. She has more than 45 research publications in national and international journals and three books and seven patents published to her credit. Her research publications have been recognized as one of the most read and top downloaded papers by Wiley in 2018-19 and in 2019-20. She has supervised several master and PhD projects. She has been associated with projects of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), Delhi, and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, USA. She has also served as Course Director (Forensic Science) for e-PG Pathshala, a project under National Law University, Delhi. She has imparted training to police officers in more than 15 states road accident investigation including in the North Eastern Police Academy, India. She has also served as a member of the UGC Committee for UGC-NET Examinations. Her research work was duly recognized and awarded by the Forensic Science Forum of the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) in 2001. She has received many other awards as well.
Karuna Singh, PhD, is an alumna of Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, India, and has a teaching experience of 20 years. At present, she is a Professor (Nutrition and Dietetics) and Dean in the School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. She is working in the field of functional and therapeutics and maternal and pediatric nutrients. She has supervised five PhD scholars, and six PhD scholars are working on different topics related to health and nutrition under her supervision. She has guided one MPhil and more than 40 MSc (FN), MTech (Food Tech ) and BTech (Food Tech) theses. She has authored more than 50 research papers in reputed national and international journals and has authored 12 book chapters and two books. Apart from her teaching assignments, she has been involved in various extension activities. She holds several patents and copyrights. She is in and editorial board member of various journals and has also handled projects awarded by government agencies such as Department of Science and Technology (India) and Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC). She also worked on various industrial consultancies. She has a vast experience in organizing faculty development programs, conferences, workshops, and seminars. She is a life member of various reputed professional bodies such as the National Institute of Nutrition, Mushroom Society of India, Indian Science Congress Association, etc. She is a gold medalist (MSc) and has received many awards.
