Anywhere the Lilies Lead

This novel is about Kerala, a liberated (albeit mentally challenged) young black woman with feelings of emptiness over her ’light’ skin. In her private quest for truth about her identity, she leaves Canada on her maiden voyage to South Africa, only to discover her backstory of secrets and deception. While trying to navigate through her dysfunctional world, Kerala stumbles upon a thorny love triangle that tests her vulnerable personality to the limit.
