Informational real estate database technology affects the way real estate managers engage with their target audience. Real estate professionals have an opportunity to leverage digital media tools to increase consumer engagement. However, real estate professionals must take time to understand how they can leverage digital marketing strategies to increase consumer engagement. The focus of this doctoral study project was to explore which digital media tools are most effective for real estate managers determined to increase consumer engagement in real estate. Chapter 1 provides an overview of the statement of the problem, purpose of the study, research questions the researcher intends to explore, the significance of the study, and definition of key terms.
