ProfessorGiacomo Luciani leads the Master in International Energy at the Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po, which he established in 2011. He is also adjunct professor of interdisciplinary studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. In 2010-13 he was Princeton Global Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and the Department of Near Eastern Studies.
In January 2015, Giacomo launched a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) entitled Politics and Economics of International Energy, which had 4’000 students enrolled in its first edition (available on France Université Numerique). Since May 2016 the MOOC is running on Coursera and has seen more than 20’000 students enrolled by May 2018.
Manfred Hafner is Professor of International Energy Studies and teaches as an adjunct professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS-Europe) and at Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). He also teaches regularly at the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, the Florence School of Regulation, the College of Europe, HEC Paris, and the Skolkovo Moscow School of Management.
Professor Hafner is Coordinator of the Energy Scenarios and Policies Program at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), associated research Fellow at IEFE (Centre for Research on Energy and Environment Economics and Policy) of Bocconi University; and Senior Scientist at the Euro-Mediterranean Center for Climate Change. He has over 30 years professional experience and has extensively consulted on energy issues for governments, international organizations and industry.
