Jessika Eichler works on indigenous peoples’ rights and human rights at large, resulting in two monographs, some edited volumes, peer-reviewed papers as well as a prestigious UNDRIPS Commentary. Her work combines legal and political theory, socio-legal and socio-political approaches as well as legal and political anthropological accounts to some extent. She has an interdisciplinary curriculum, including a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (University College Maastricht), an LL.M. in International Law (Maastricht University), a Ph.D. in Sociology and Human Rights (University of Essex) and a habilitation in Political Science, Political Theory (Sciences Po Paris).
