Abhishek Kumar is currently working as a Graduate Assistant (Ph.D. Scholar) in the J. Mike Walker ’66 Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station. He received his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (2023) from the University of California Merced, USA, M.Tech. in Design Engineering (2016) from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India in 2016, and Bachelor of Engineering degree (honors) in Mechanical Engineering (2014) from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. He has worked as an Assistant Professor at Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur (2018-2020), Galgotias University, Greater Noida (2017), and Parul University, Vadodara (2016-2017). He was a summer visiting researcher at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (2018). He has experience of more than eight years as an Assistant Professor and a Graduate Student Researcher working with tribological systems, and their surface and wear characterization. He has successfully completed more than ten research projects with reputed industrial partners such as Chevron Corporation, SpaceX, Chevron-Phillips, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, etc. and academic collaborators such as National University of Singapore, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, California State University Chico, Illinois State University Normal, etc. He is 2024 Technical Editor for theTribology & Lubrication Technology (TLT) magazine which is the official monthly publication of Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE). He has published more than 13 publications as international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings.
Dr. Avinash Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITD&M) Kancheepuram, Chennai, India (An Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Education, Government of India). He is also affiliated as Visiting Assistant Professor, Stanford University California, USA. He is doing joint collaborative work with Stanford University on "Theoretical and Experimental Quantification of Error in Enzyme Kinetics Parameter of CRISPR-Cas12 and Cas13" and "Desalination of water using novel microfluidic-based mixers in FCDI (Flow-electrode Capacitive Deionization)". His research interests include Fabrication Technologies (Micro/Nanofabrication, Laser Machining, Surface Engineering) for MEMS, Micro/Nano-fluidics, Bio-fluidics, Bio-medical Devices and Health Care. He has done more than 5 projects and written many books. He has published more than 40 publications as international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings.
Dr. Ashwani Kumar is Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering within the Technical Education Department Uttar Pradesh Kanpur, India, with a Ph.D. in Mechanical engineering, he brings over 13 years of expertise in research, academia, and administration. He serves as the Book Series Editor, Editor-in-Chief, and Review Board Member in different international journals. His extensive research portfolio includes over 100 publications in journals, book chapters, and conferences, along with authoring or co-authoring 30+ books in mechanical and materials engineering. His research interests encompass AI & ML in Mechanical & Biomedical Engineering, Smart Materials, TES, and Renewable Energy Harvesting.
