Transdisciplinarity in Citizenship Education: Challenges, Advances, and Research Proposals

Delfín Ortega-Sánchez holds a Ph.D. in Didactics of History and Social Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain; a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Burgos, Spain; and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Extremadura, Spain. His research interests focus on education for a democratic, inclusive, and committed citizenship, addressing social problems and controversial issues. He is the Director of the Recognized Research Group in Didactics of History and Social Sciences (DHISO) at the University of Burgos.
