Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence: Training Machine and Deep Learning Algorithms on Quantum Computers

This book is to explore and explain the strategically sound capabilities at the synchronization between quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI). The reader will be presented with an introduction and a deeper review of the technological trends and transitions being unearthed in the quantum computing and AI domains.

Pethuru Raj PhD is working as a chief architect and Vice President at the Edge AI Division at Reliance Jio Platforms Ltd. (JPL) Bangalore. Previously. worked in IBM global Cloud center of Excellence (CoE), Wipro consulting services (WCS), and Robert Bosch Corporate Research (CR). In total, I have gained more than 22 years of IT industry experience and 8 years of research experience. Finished the CSIR-sponsored PhD degree at Anna University, Chennai and continued with the UGC-sponsored postdoctoral research in the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Thereafter, I was granted a couple of international research fellowships (JSPS and JST) to work as a research scientist for 3.5 years in two leading Japanese universities. Focuses on some of the emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) Model Optimization Techniques, Big and streaming Analytics, Blockchain, Digital Twins, Cloud-native computing, Edge and Serverless computing, Reliability engineering, Microservices architecture (MSA), Event-driven architecture (EDA), 5G, etc.

Dr. Abhishek Kumar is currently working as an Assistant director /Associate professor in Computer science & Engineering Department in Chandigarh University, Punjab, India .He is Doctorate in computer science from University of Madras and is doing Post-Doctoral Fellow in Ingenium Research Group Ingenium Research Group Lab, Universidad De Castilla-La Mancha, Ciudad Real, and Ciudad Real Spain. . He has total Academic teaching experience of more than 11 years along with 2 years teaching assistantship. He has more than 100 publications in reputed, peer reviewed National and International Journals, books & Conferences He has guided more than 30 M.Tech & MS Projects at national and International level and guided PhD Scholar at national and International Level . .He is acting as Series Editor for three books series, Quantum Computing with Degruyter Germany, Intelligent Energy System with Elsevier, & Sustainable Energy with Nova, USA. Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Dubey is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Ingenium Research Group Lab, Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Ciudad Real, Ciudad Real Spain. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He is currently in the department of Computer Science and Engineering, Chitkara University School of Engineering and Technology, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, India. He is also the Senior Member of IEEE and ACM. He has more than 14 years of teaching experience. He has authored a book name Database Management Concepts. He has been associated with many international and national conferences as the Technical Program Committee member. He is also associated as the Editor/Editorial Board Member/ Reviewer of many peer-reviewed journals. His research areas are Machine Learning, Health Informatics, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Wind Energy, Climate Change, Environment Pollution and Object-Oriented Programming.

Surbhi Bhatia is doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering from Banasthali University, 2018 in the area of machine learning and social media analytics. She earned Project management Professional Certification from reputed Project Management Institute, USA. She has rich 10 years of teaching and academic experience. She is currently working in the Department of Information Systems, College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. She is also the Adjunct Professor of Shoolini University, Himachal Pradesh, India. She has more than 10 years of teaching experience in different universities from India and Saudi Arabia. She is also working as a consultant in the Research Lab, India. She is the Associate Editor of the reputed HCIS journal, Editorial board member with Inderscience Publishers in the International Journal of hybrid Intelligence and in SN Applied Sciences, Springer. She has published nine national and international patents from India, Australia and United States. She has published many papers in reputed journals and conferences in high indexing databases. She is currently serving as a guest editor of special issues. She has successfully authored 2 books from Springer and Wiley. She has also edited 9 books from CRC Press, Elsevier and Springer. She has completed 5 projects from Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia and Deanship of Scientific Research in Saudi Arabia. Three are currently ongoing from Saudi Arabia and DST, India. Her area of interest is Data Mining, Machine Learning, Sentiment Analysis, and Natural language Processing.

Dr. S. Oswalt Manoj completed his PhD in the field of Information and Communication engineering from Anna University Chennai with the title ＂Analysis and Prediction of Rainfall in Agriculture based on Deep Learning Framework＂. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He obtained his B.E degree in computer Science and Engineering from Cape Institute of Technology, Tirunelveli in 2008 and his M.E Degree in computer science and engineering from University Departments, Anna University of Technology, Tirunelveli in 2010. He has 11+ years of experience in Teaching, Research, Mentoring and Administration. His research focuses on Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics and Cloud computing. He was associated with Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India as Assistant Professor Senior Grade-CSE and Placement trainer cum coordinator - SRIT. He is a keen mentor in motivating the students in their professional and personal career and also has proficiency in handling the administrative activities entailing event management like training / seminars and upholding of the institution’s motto.
