Lauri Järvilehto is a philosophical investigator, a metaphysical explorer and a Sherlock Holmes fan. He is most interested in questions concerning how the mind works. He has a PhD in philosophy, more specifically epistemology, from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. He has lectured in dozens of universities world-wide on topics ranging from the philosophy of the mind to positive psychology, from semantics to epistemology. Lauri is the founder of Filosofian Akatemia, a successful research and training company. With Filosofian Akatemia, he has worked on applying research findings with thousands of trainees from multinational corporation. He is also the author of two bestselling Finnish books on thinking and well-being. Lauri is a passionate researcher always looking for new avenues of inquiry regarding how human beings function and how to add to their well-being.
