The Importance of Constitutional Rules and Property Rights: The German Economy in 1990-2015

The book analyzes the constitutional rules and property rights for the German economy in 1990-2015. It is an economic historical study embedded in positive constitutional economics and the property rights theory. These rules set the framework for the former GDR’s transition, unification, integration and convergence.

Dr. Damian Bębnowski is assistant professor at the Department of History of Economics of the University of Lódź, Poland. His main research interests concern contemporary Polish and world history, economic history, institutional economics, political and socio-economic thought, theory and methodology of humanities and social sciences.
