Development is a relative concept. It involves a systematic and positive change in the physical qualities of life of the people. Rural development means a qualitative improvement in living conditions particularly of those residing in rural areas affected by poverty, illiteracy and poor health conditions. The scenario in the rural areas is fast changing wherein poor people are getting guarantee of minimum employment and women folks are endowed with social and economic empowerment with their participation in Self Help Group (SHG). A rural economy with all-inclusive growth is fast emerging in the State. The agricultural development, Industrial development, infrastructural development and also in human development. Though we have achieved food security, but it is not stable. Basic problems of food security, poverty, equity and sustainability of resources are cause of concern for all of us. The Government of India assists the farmers to make agricultural farming viable and remunerative, Rural development has evolved over the years more generally in a symbiotic relationship: from community development through the Green Revolution to integrated rural development; and from the mid- 1980s.
