＂Advanced Electrical Machines and Drives Technologies＂ was a continuation of the first successful MDPI Topic dedicated to this field. It focused on the latest developments in the design, optimization, modeling, experimental testing, and manufacturing of electrical machines and drive systems, which play a vital role in industry, transportation, and energy systems. The research challenges addressed included improving energy efficiency while reducing material and production costs. The Topic encouraged multidisciplinary approaches, combining electrical engineering with modern control methods, diagnostics, and materials science. Covered areas included bearingless machines, BLDC motors, permanent magnet topologies, sensorless drives, composite materials, and wide-bandgap semiconductors. Contributions were published in MDPI journals such as Applied Sciences, Machines, Energies, and Vehicles, with early-stage research shared via Preprints.org.
