* 1985 in Koblenz (Germany) has studied History, Comparative Religion and British Colonial History in Germany and the United Kingdom. Since autumn 2012 she has been a doctoral student in the War Studies Department at King’s College London, working on a military-sociological study which looks at the relevance and understanding of the national past to the motivation of British and Germany Army Officer Cadets’ to enlist. Her poems, photographs and essays have been published in newspapers, magazines, anthologies and literary magazines in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the United Kingdom, Italy, New Zealand, the USA and Canada. She was editor of the PostPoetry Magazine until 2013, and since 2014 she has been responsible for the editorship of The Transnational. Sarah has won the manuscript award of the Literaturwerk of the county of Rhineland-Palatinate and the German Writers Association (2013), and she has lived in London since 2010. Autumn 2014 saw the publication of her poetry and essay volume Ich mag die Welt, so wie sie ist in Munich.
