Evolutionary Theory of the Globalisation of Firms

The author develops an evolutionary theory of the globalisation of firms using a thorough historical analysis to identify the basic globalisation processes. The identification of the underlying mechanisms allows managers to use these dynamics actively rather than to neglect or ＂contain＂ them in the firm’s evolutionary process.
