Agent Based Simulation Approach to Assess Supply Chain Complexity and its Impact on Performance

Mayolo Alberto López Castellanos holds a B. Sc. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM, Mexico) with an exchange at McGill University (Canada). He specialized in Mechatronics Technology at Chiba Polytechnic Center (Japan) and graduated as M. Sc. in International Production Management at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH, Germany); he also holds an MBA from the Northern Institute of Technology (NIT, Germany). The author worked as an Operations Manager in one of Mexico’s leading newspapers and as a research associate in the Institute of Business Logistics and General Management at Hamburg University of Technology. He concluded his dissertation for Dr.-Ing. in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Wolfgang Kersten.
