Analysis of the German EXIST-II-Program and its Transferability to Mexico

Claudia Erika Gutiérrez Díaz was born in 1971 in Guadalajara (Mexico) into a family of entrepreneurs of a medium-sized business. She graduated in law studies (1990-1995) and holds a Master Degree in Business Administration (1999-2001) from the University of Guadalajara. She collected entrepreneurial experience in various institutions. She worked in the family business (1991-1997), in the Food Industry and Commerce Chamber (1997-1999) and in an enterprise operating in the food sector (1999-2000). In 2002 to 2003 she founded a company dealing with dried fruit. At the same time she was also engaged in teaching and researching activities in the University of Guadalajara (2001-2003). Under the auspices of the DAAD research fellowship she carried out her doctoral studies in the University of Kassel (2006-2012).
