Michael Malone spent his formative years in Edinburgh before leaving school at sixteen in pursuit of freedom. After a spell in the Forestry Commission in Northern Scotland, he joined the RAF where he served for five years, two of them in Gibraltar, with fond memories of traveling around Europe on his scooter. On his return to Scotland, he focused on academia and completed a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Physics, following wich he started his career as a mathematics teacher. Michael is happily married with two children and among his pastimes is writing plays for amateur theatre. This novel marks his debut as an author.
