Pamela Heller-Stern’s name means "brighter star." She has been a bookworm since childhood, a rebel, and a lover of fine art. Pamela obtained a Doctorate in English Literature at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg where she lectured in Literature for five years starting at the young age of twenty-two. Prior to her retirement at the beginning of 2008, she wrote eleven short volumes of poetry. She is also the author of three novels: "The Pink Slippers," "It’s a Red Moon and a Green Man," and "Who’s Knocking on my Door?"
