Freya’’s Image: An Intergalactic Story

Born in 1947 in the former Czechoslovakia, Sylva Kanderal studied medicine in Brünn, where she later worked at a dental clinic and was promoted to chief physician at the age of thirty. She obtained a further diploma from the Medical University of Zürich, where she opened her own practice. She has already made a name for herself as an author through publications in specialist dental journals. She is a mother of two children. Sylva inspired her creative writing by drawing on her colorful life experiences, that she captured in short stories. In Hamburg, she attended the School of Writing. With ＂Freya’s Image＂ she has created her first novel. Besides writing, painting and travelling are Kanderal’s hobbies. Today this passionate bridge player lives in the United States of America.
