MH Kinaesthetics(R) and salutogenesis

Promoting health instead of avoiding illness is a clear paradigm shift in the health debate. This book describes how holistic health promotion can be achieved through the quality of exercise. The first part of the book takes a critical look at various health theories. The descriptions of the salutogenesis model and MH Kinaesthetics(R) show that health can be lived in practice. MH Kinaesthetics(R) is a learning system in which the perception of one’s own movement is trained. MH Kinaesthetics(R) teaches movement skills, particularly in everyday activities, and has a positive and lasting effect on health. Qualitative interviews with experts and the founder are used to illustrate the connections between salutogenesis and MH Kinaesthetics(R) in relation to health.
