This book is intended to serve as a manual for secondary school teachers who intend to use a methodology based on the scientific method with their students. It presents the guidelines to follow for students to carry out a small research project where the methodologies based on contexts and inquiry are combined. The didactic proposal presented is motivating, as it deals with a current issue such as the pollution generated by the textile industry, starting from the question "Does going to fashion, does it pollute? Throughout 6 activities, contextualized laboratory experiences are interspersed as the synthesis of polymers, among others, that will allow pre-university students to acquire conceptual and procedural contents of Chemistry, and attitudinal towards the environment, as it allows to relate science with the impact of going to fashion, thus combining science-technology and society. The final objective is that the student argues on the basis of the acquired knowledge of chemistry, reflects and opts for a more responsible and sustainable consumption.
