The book was divided into chapters that address relevant topics for the secretariat such as secretarial management, a topic that has been discussed, developing a comprehensive view of the daily secretarial and organisational life, as well as the role of the executive secretarial professional as a manager and co-manager. We follow with the theme of the advancement of technology to improve secretarial management, and the influence that technology has had on the profession, so that the existence of the possibility of secretarial activities being replaced by automation has caused instability in the profession. The next chapter addresses the importance of improving secretarial techniques, highlighting secretarial techniques for university, to conclude with the secretariat in the university environment: management for quality characterising the form of management in sight, a characteristic instrument of the executive secretary, by a form of communication that can be observed by anyone who works in a particular area, anyone who is passing through this area and for anyone who can visualise it, as a more satisfactory management mode for the university environment.
