Brazilian teaching and research institutions face difficulties in advancing their internationalisation processes, and society and the state miss out on the opportunity to attract qualified professionals who can contribute to the country’s economic and scientific development. Resolution No. 3 of 22 June 2016 of the National Education Council - CNE-CES - and Normative Ordinance No. 22 of 13 December 2016, which aim to speed up the revalidation/recognition process and fill legal gaps within the Higher Education Internationalisation Policy.
